Pianist Ipek Brooks, a native of Turkey, studied at the M.S.U. Conservatory in Istanbul. Mrs. Brooks received her Master’s degree at SUNY Purchase where she became a faculty member for keyboard studies in 2007. She has performed many contemporary chamber compositions by such composers as Crumb, Wourinen, Xenakis, T Leon, Ricks and many others. She holds a DMA in piano performance from the University of Georgia and maintains a teaching studio, PianoAlpharetta.



Michael Brooks, viola

Michael Brooks was born in Lexington, KY and began studying the violin at the age of 3. For his Bachelor’s Degree he attended the Cleveland Institute of Music and for his Master’s Degree attended SUNY Purchase. He has been a member of numerous orchestras throughout the country including Hartford Symphony, Naples Philharmonic, Cleveland Pops, Charleston Symphony, Toledo Symphony, and the Columbus Symphony. In 2008, Michael decided to switch professional careers to Finance, and now resides in Atlanta as a partner of Sentara Capital.



Brandon Dodge, percussion

Brandon Dodge is a freelance percussionist, music educator, and composer/arranger based out of Atlanta, Georgia. As a performer, Brandon maintains an active involvement in several contemporary chamber groups in Atlanta, including Terminus Ensemble and Chamber Cartel, and the chamber-rock group The Clibber Jones Ensemble. Brandon holds a Master’s of Music degree from Georgia State University in percussion performance, as well as a B.A. from Jacksonville State University, studying percussion and composition.



Adelaide Federici, violin

Adelaide Federici, is acting principal second violin with the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, concertmaster of the Johns Creek Symphony, violinist with the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, and frequently performs with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. She also performs with the Atlanta Chamber Players under the auspices of Young Audiences of Atlanta, and the contemporary music ensembles Bent Frequency and Sonic Generator. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music and the University of Southern California, Ms. Federici has performed as soloist and chamber musician in Atlanta, Maryland, New York, Los Angeles, Colorado, Austria, Germany, and The Netherlands. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, two small children, and two big dogs.

Olivia Kieffer, percussion

Olivia Kieffer is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin. She earned her Master’s degree in percussion performance from Georgia State University, and her Bachelor of Music in percussion from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of music, where she studied with the Percussion Group Cincinnati. Ms. Kieffer has been on adjunct faculty at Reinhardt University since 2009, where she teaches private lessons and directs the Reinhardt University Percussion Ensemble. Olivia is bandleader for the chamber-rock group Clibber Jones Ensemble.



Brandyn Taylor, saxophone

 Brandyn Taylor is a part time instructor of saxophone at Georgia State University where he assists Dr. Jan Berry Baker. In addition to duties at GSU, he is the private lessons coordinator and assistant director of marching band at the Wesleyan School in Norcross, Georgia. Brandyn holds degrees in music performance from Columbus State University(B.M. Performance) and Georgia State University(M.M. Performance). His primary teachers were Dr. Amy Griffiths, Dr. Alexander Pershounin, Dr. Jan Berry Baker, and additional studies with Mace Hibbard. He has performed in shows at the Brevard Music Center, the State Opera House of Georgia, and has performed with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Dekalb Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Saxophone Quartet, Bent Frequency, Oglethorpe University Chamber Winds, Chamber Cartel, and the Atlanta Ballet.
